この度、SigARTGALLERY&PROJECTSでは、Ars Electronicaの主催するイベント「ARS ELECTRONICA FESTIVAL 2018」にて、アートコレクティブ「MIND X」のインスタレーション作品「Comfort ZONE」を展示致しました。現代のSNS社会において、「いいね！」という賞賛は大量消費され、承認至上主義とも呼べるライフスタイルを生み出しました。これらは多くの場合、揶揄の対象となりますが、承認を求める行為は人間に備わった潜在的な欲求であり、テクノロジーによって表面化したに過ぎないのではないでしょうか。「Comfort ZONE」は、承認の降る世界での体験を通して、自身の選択を迫られる現代社会を反映したインスタレーション作品となります。変容する現代社会においてどのように生きるべきなのか、その一端ともなる体験を提供いたします。

SigARTGALLERY&PROJECTS has exhibited an installation work , " Comfort Zone " by art collective 'MIND X' at ARS ELECTRONICA, an event held by Ars Electronica.In the modern social network based society, the praising action 'like' has been overly expended and this has realized a lifestyle which could be named as a "recognised supremacy ".This phenomenon of wanting a recognition from others is likely spoken as a ridicule but from a different point of view could it not be said a desire which potentially exists in human nature that has been simply became perceptional by technology ?'Comfort Zone' is an installation which the person experiencing has to confront the decision of him/her self under the environment representing the modern society__ "recognition".This project will provide the chance to reconsider what it means to live in today's transitional society.
